"Yeah, i was." standing up and taking tray from her hands. "but i called out for three days of sick leave.!"
"Why? What happened?" putting her hands on his forehead checking for fever.
"I saw you taking out those pads from closet." and now she wasn't looking anymore in his eyes.
Putting down the tray and holding her cheeks in his hand "Hey, hey ..hey , look at me. It's okay. I know and that's why i took leave."
"I put the bedsheets in laundry" making her sit down, kissing on her forehead "and now you little lady, you will just sit tight here and I'll take care of everything.
"You will?" asked with that exclaimed sign on her face.
"Yeah, i will. I have done it before" *which i have never done* he murmured with a smile.

"Why didn't you wish me today?" She asked with that angry look of her's.
"What's today?" In a half sleep and confused mode, i replied.
"It's our first Valentines together. you don't even remember?" that face slowly turning red with anger.
"I do remember sweetheart. I..I.....I..... was just about to wish you."
"Ohh yeah, tell me then what's the day today?" *interrogation mode! ON*
"Tell me? What happened? Ohh... I get it, you don't even know what's the special day!" Now, that red face with widened eyes was scary.
I just got up and held her hands and whispered.
"Hey sweetie! You know, these days just come and go every year but for me each and every day is special as long as i am with you."
She didn't expected that. Her face was still red but this time she was blushing and just kept me hugging whole day.

"Weren't you listening? I said, she broke up. That's heartbreaking. *Explaining*"
"Woah man..! Just hold it for a sec. *Disturbed look* Is that your definition of heartbreak?"
"Why? Was something else had to happen" *astonished voice*
"I don't know..! Maybe, i here couldn't see myself. I can't decide what i am. What i have to do and most importantly *loud voice* i don't know who i'm anymore and that's more heartbreaking for me."
*after listening, speaking softly* " I'm sorry. I know who you are and what you are supposed to do. I'm gonna get you there. I promise."
