अंधेरे और उजाले के दरमियान
सरहद है बस परछाई की....
परछाई वो,
जिसका अस्तित्व तो उजाले में
पर रहता अंधेरा उसके दरमियान

उसमें यूँ ढल गए,
हम पत्ते नहीं हैं
कि पतझड़ रूत आई और झड़ गए

लोग कहते हैं, कि अपने ही
पतझड़ में पत्तो की तरह बिछड़ जाते हैं
पर दुनिया ए नादान,बिछड़े बिना
मिलने की खुशी कहां समझ पाते हैं

अब हो अगर हालात बुरे
कल खुशियां भी तो छाएंगी
पतझड़ अगर अाई है
तो बसंत भी तो आएगी

कभी चढ़ती,कभी ढलती है
कड़ी धूप सी मुश्किलों में
छांव खोजती चलती है
