As I take out
The rotten and old rose
With fresh and lovely memories
From my diary
That have your smiles and stories
Painted with love
And sketched with passion
I smile toothlessly
Reminiscing my journey
To this wrinkled phase of life
Without you and with your memories
As I touch my face
The same as one
Which you used to kiss
Lovingly with your supple lips
And I feel the ghost of them
Lingering there
As I see myself in the mirror
Holding the dress in front of me
The same
In which you first saw me
And gasped awestruck
I feel the ring again
You brought from the vending machine
Just to propose me
And I remember the day
We ran away
To bond as one
Because the world couldnt bear seeing being mixed two religion
Tears pool in my eyes
As disgust and dread fills in me for the world which killed you just in our first year together just because they saw us and not you and me making me alone as they made you leave..From the world..

Sometimes reminiscing the golden memories gives you more happiness than the person who only left the memories for you .

From the belly aching laugh which brought tears to the eyes,
To the laugh we laugh to hide the tears in the eyes.

From the smile so wide it makes our cheeks hurt,
To the smile wide enough cover up the hurt.

From shouting in pain because of a small scratch,
To hiding the pain of knife stabbed in the back.

From loving the days which allows us to play,
To thanking the nights which hides the tears of pain.

From not wanting to wake up in the morning,
To spending the night without sleeping a wink.

From the glory days of childhood,
To the gloomy nights of adulthood.
