Those resonating tones of the mantras
Uttered in deep faith from the Hindu granthas
The magical aroma of those oil lamps& insence sticks
Turning the devotees more spiritual and mystic
The devotees bowed down in front of her
Paying homage and praying for a peaceful life removing all their pains& scar.

Bedecked with cresent moon on her forehead resembling shape of a temple bell
"Ma Chandraghanta" is how she got her name her devotess tell
Worshipping the goddess of beauty and bravery on the third day

Named as the Durga,the goddess of strength
An effigy of grace with immense blaze
Victorious over the demons dominating the evil spirits
Redeemer towards her devotees
Affectionate & kind mother she is
Toting an inner mystery
Respected by everyone, residing in their heart
Incredible mother she is,known as Durga for the devotess.

धूप दीप नैवेद्य संग श्रद्धा सुमन चरणों में अर्पित करें तेरे माता।
हम बालक अज्ञानी नादान है माँ तेरे हमें पूजा विधान न आता।

हृदय को सुकूँ मिलता जब भक्तों पर बरसता तेरा प्रेम, अनूप।
जन्मों की तृष्णा मिट जाती माँ देख तेरा ममत्व से परिपूर्ण रूप।

अपने भक्तों पर कृपा की वृष्टि करो ,दर्शन दे हमें हे माँ अम्बे।
हे सिंहवाहिनी जगत जननी! लो शरण अपनी हमें माँ जगदम्बे ।

ले हाथ त्रिशूल, कर सिंह की सवारी ,दुखड़े हरने भक्तों की माँ नव रूप में पधारी।

नौ रातों के समूह से बंधा, नौ देवियों के पूजन से बना,
व्रत को जो सम्पूर्ण करा, अखंड द्वीप प्रज्जवलित करता।।

Mother Durga, let your supreme power from which life emanates
Radiates to every nook and corner of the Earth
Making it pure & heavenly removing every dirt that exist on the Earth
Let your flame from the eyes blaze once again
Burning the demons into ashes& relieving your devotees heart from pain
Let the heart of a mother hear the cry in pain and see the terror in the eyes
The terror for the demons dominating the Earth that you once slayed to save the Earth
Mother God, an effigy of grace,let you lighten the Earth once again by your immense blaze.
