I get hurt too easily then very soon I realize how could I forget my job of pretending.

Why do we need to be a Pretender when we can just be Ourselves?
We should be what we are
not to be what others
want us to be.

I'm sorry if I treated you badly
I walked on roads of hell and came out twice evil
I was mistreated and overused that I learned to breathe fire and I think I burned you severely
I was open-wounded and it gave away my soul to vulnerability
There was no cure, I can only guard myself to not let anyone touch me
I wasn't even healing, I was just hurting and all I do is hurt people around me
But no I am not asking, I am not going to ask you to understand me
Nor can I ask you to forgive me, no, you cannot forgive me
I was months late to ask for this sweetie and maybe I am conceitedly haughty
I was just a coward to let you walk away and that is the only thing I regreted poorly
