Words don't come as easily to me. How could they? I'm drowning in my own puddles thinking them to be oceans. But that's how it always seems. When you're down in the rutts. When you feel you could rip yourself apart to stop it from hurting and the walls would still close in.
There's no escape. There's no way out. All that's left is to power through, wake up to yet another day of the same dilemma. To fulfill some endless cycle that no longer makes sense. Nothing does. You could almost die for a miracle. A hero to make the sun shine for you again.

But can I let you in on a secret? It's you. You're the hero. You're the one you can count on. You can change everything one step at a time. And when days go by seeming meaningless, you'll see how far you've​ come.

How that light at the end of the tunnel is all that surrounds you.

I can and I have been able to live with the good and bad consequences of my decisions. I can own them, learn from them, and if it’s a mistake, then try not to repeat it again.

But when circumstances constrain me or I have to live with the consequences that the actions of other people cause in my life, then it becomes extremely hard to adjust and live with it.
