On their anniversary.
Soon misunderstandings broke in and they parted.
The kinship was now fitful.
But the tattoo stayed.
One treated it like a token of affection,
While the other,
Concluded it to be an atrocious omen.

Lips smiled, heart bloomed in happiness
& It just felt like we were never apart.
