the parrots

HOUSE OF THE BUTCHER
The herd members are all alike,
preaching what their preacher preached,
going on and on, more foolish,
more unreasonable than parrots.
We stand in dearth of hope,
squeezing breaths through eyelet lungs.
The preacher harvests one gold egg at a time,
while the goose dies a slow death in vain;
soon she'll be stripped off all her gold.
We stand and wait, walk up and down,
silent and loud, holding flaccid and loose.
The party is planned
ignoring poor mother goose,
and talk is on about things that matter.
A vista was meant to be an avenue
for growth and development,
but it looks like it is going to be
the new house of the old butcher.

கிளிக் கூட்டமாய்

Recollecting faint memories from past

Would write many poems. Lots and lots.

You are not the parrots
But the best creatures
You have the guts
To have the exquisite features
Parrots invariably imitate
Never speak their own words
People to whom they copy feels great
But parrots cannot win the race
As they imitate someone else
So they are invariably second
To speak the sentence

But silence is certain. That is why parrot's chatter . Parrot is alone and like to fly . No, parrot is not alone.
I know there's no one to understand parrot's humming or the chatter she wants to utter.

Everyone see her outside behaviour not the inside the way she's going through...

they are mugged up
lacking the emotions...
