I've started thinking
With a mind of my own
Tell me, dear Mother,
For how long have you known
If I don't listen to my voice
I would always be alone.

The Mother has given us more than a month's time to contemplate on how best to worship her this year. All the time just for following the hackneyed path of what has always been done?
Worship her in contemplation this year than in public revelry? The revelry has worshipped our hackneyed hedonism over her harmonious benediction, and mayhaps she wants us all to introspect on that? She is equally the Shakti which is present within the 'Shri' of our home as she is in any Protima. Her worship is in connecting with her sagacity and seeking her aegis. Not with using her as an excuse to jettison common sense? This year her aegis resides more strongly in our home than in public throng. She's not kept by our worship, but we are kept by her grace.Yet her grace isn't to be taken for granted but demands us being rooted to our transitional reality and, being true to it, seek her inspiration.
Happy Pujas to you. This year I hope we find a newer way to effect the Puja.May we all feel the Devi's presence closer to us than by assaying out in her name to serve our hedonism.Save yourself. You'll save others too. Her presence is eternal, but we might yet hasten our ephemerality or bring more challenge upon it?

MAHISASURA #OhMother

They tell me it is hard to beget your touch,
Oh Mother, True my son, not all can withstand it!
She sighed,
The frail wither, the strong transmogrify
It is best to uphold me from a distance,
than bear the sear of my touch
What would I then need, to withstand
your touch?
Oh Mother?
You'd need a callous of self, She said,
which would withstand the singe of Shakti
And be mired deep enough in the
bed of life's flow, so that the uplifting pull
doesn't throw one out of orbit
It is only my Lord who can bear my touch!
She demurred I know how I could do that,
Oh Mother, I'd take on an outer callous,
by calumny and misdeeds,
which'd bury my innocence deep
And mire myself in the muck of infringement,
such that when your touch pulls,
it'll soften the leap But promise,
promise to touch me,
Oh Mother!
Promise to rest at least your toe on
my chest and cleave me to my inner innocence with your lancet
I'll be the worst demon I can be,
for that touch!
'Tis only a role, but there's heavens to be made in the blessing
oh mother!
Grant me that boon of role play?

How would you explain?
The love that cause pain.

Oh mother!!
Your grief..
Transparent.
Your smile..
Just an illusion.
Your tears..
Falling behind the closed door.

Dont fall apart.
Those creases too reflect an art

You be the prettiest.. Still!!
Dont abandon hope
That empty feeling
In your heart
Im gonna fill.

Im not far from you
Dont think
Im leaving you in blue.

I feel your pain
The way you say
Its always going to rain.

Oh mother!!
Dont lose your charm...
Ill walk you through this soreness
Arm in arm.
