पर आज सब चाहते दीदार क्यों?

मुंह दिखाई की इस रश्म में
क्यों नही सज संवर के आऊं मैं?
पर देख प्रीत की सुन्दरता
क्यों नहीं शरमाऊँ मैं?

खुशी में चमकता हूँ
उदासी में खुद को मैं खोता हूँ
आज सबकी निगाहें मुझ पर होगी
क्यों नहीं रूबरू होने से डरूँ मैं?

Hey! The happy mothers of world
I am a mother from unfortunate land

You are known to dreadful journey
From a girl to the mother

I am mother of disappeared son
Whom i lost in the cyclone of war

My eyes didn't see him yet
Almost it is more than a year

You may feel it to some extent
When your son didn't receive a call

When you offer him tasty food
But he refuses by moving his head

I am mother of that son
To whom is serve food for year

He was not there infront of me
In anticipation i do this daily

Then in morning i threw that out
When i found he has not tasted it

He was innocent and well wisher to all
Don't know why they snatch us all

I know nothing about the war
Who will win and who will lose

Let my world back to me
Peace is only when we are free

Under this occupation how much we lost
Only we can feel it under dark sky

Give me promise,He will come back
To serve my coffin with tortured hand

आज पूर्ण चांद में
अक्स पिया का उभरने को है।
एक कौर इश्क से
नीर में अमृत छलकेगा,
सुहागन के तप से
हर सुहाग अमर होगा।

सबर रख बन्दे
टुटे दिल भी जुड जायेंगे
कहानियाँ भी पुरी हो जाएँगी
बस "माँ" का आर्शीवाद और अपनो का प्यार लेकर चल
ना कोई रवानी खाली जाएगी ना किसी का दिया धोखा..
कुछ ऐसी कामयाबी तेरी मेहनत तुझे दिलाएगी।
