my crumpled bedsheet,
and the darkness under my eyes.
The bottom of my bed
tries to wake me up
all night hurt by my nails
scratching its sides.

if I dream of birds;
no one knows

if I make waterfalls;

if I fall into them.

I choose to keep my eyes closed even when I am having nightmares.
Because My reality Is way more messed up than my dreams.
