Yesterday, we danced
to the rhythm of moments,
today, time dances
to our tangled breaths.
But isn't this an illusion,
time walking in a straight line?

to the sky,
for, the stars await
my heart, unspoken,
behind the clouds
or gilded by the golden rays
or sometimes, just in love, brazen,
they gaze upon me
such that the whole world
opens itself up to me.

have taken over my days and nights.
I struggle with the release,
my fingers tightly clenched
around my breaths,
my lungs inhaling emotions
trying to exhale meanings.
Is it saudade?
Or, is it just more grief
upon existing grief?
For once, will you help me
find the letters
that do not stumble upon each other?
Will you shape words
that do not form broken sentences?
Will you become the poem
that writes itself,
just this once?

The stars hide from my gaze tonight
but I stare, long enough
to see tiny flickers,
pieces of heaven shining down
on a world breathing in silver-blues.
Is my mind playing tricks with me?
Or, do those specks of hope,
lights years away,
want me to go on?
