I step outside
Feeling dread; of the day
Feeling lonely, feeling scared
The people around me everywhere
Keeps head down , don't look up
For my thoughts have started to spun
I feel frozen, trapped in place 
As you say hi, smile and wave
Throat feels dry, heart has stopped
Can't I just say one word?
Just one word to say hello?
I gather courage start to speak 
But by then you have crossed the street
You have left, without a glance
To the boy who tries his best 
But cannot speak
