and cover me from the rain.

You await the fresh honey
lest you remember
the bees are above your head
for a reason.

I feel broke. I don't care.
I don't know why it's not a nightmare.
l just shake my head and pinch myself
as if dreams could bury themselves.
I look at myself in the mirror and ask
"Is this me from the past
or towards the future?"
because either way I can't live in the present.
