We were mismatched yet beautiful
Just like a poem that doesn't rhyme.

What's wrong?

People ask me, what's wrong?
But telling my problems won't affect.
Even I don't know the answer
It's just that nothing seems correct.

Don't know how to express
How to tell what's wrong.
So, I shut up and leave it,
Left alone with my fav song.

What to say, what not to?
That, my mood-swing decides.
People think I'm rude, but
In my mind, only love resides.

People don't share anything,
They just wanna know.
Know me, and then judge
I hate the sympathy they show.

I don't want people to know,
I want them to think I'm strong.
A fake smile covers it all
But I know, something's wrong.

Many may feel it's a prison
But it's a place really cool
Believe me you'll miss those days
Which were spent in our school.

Through the spice stalls
It breathes the air that flows
From tiny streets and big malls.

Which carries the raindrops,
Of trust and affection.
And when it rains,
The drops affects the soil
Makes it soft and fertile.
Just as love soothes our heart.

A cloud doesn't has a shape,
And so is love, full of imperfections.
But some things just tell us
How imperfect can be beautiful.
So it's ok, if my poem doesn't rhyme.

A honeycomb without honey.
A wallet without money.
A night sky without stars.
A battlefield without wars.

I wrote my first poem
When I was just twelve.
It was my parent's anniversary
And I composed the poem by myself.

Then, I read it out
In front of all the guests.
All of them applauded loudly
That feeling was just the best!

In this way I was encouraged
To write more, something nice.
Now I love writing poems
And it's most important in my life♥️

I was once standing beside my friend,
When I looked at my reflection.
And my friend reminded me,
"Images are usually misconceptions."

Staring at my reflection in the mirror
I wished to be thinner and taller.
When she looked at me saying,
"Such wishes make you smaller."

She was right, but who was she to talk?
For she was every guy's dream...
While I was thinking, she exclaimed,
"Looks aren't what they seem!"

She asked me the features I like about me,
And I knew my troubles had just begun.
I could see her expressions fall down
When I couldn't think of even one.

She said, "You're the most loving person
And I hate to watch you fall apart,
You should know what makes you beautiful
Your best feature is your heart."

Your mind isn't up for it.
But your heart gets that feeling,
And doesn't want to leave it.

When butterflies on the flowers
Look dull than ones in stomach.
Our practical senses disappear,
And those love shocks come up.

Roses turned brighter
And violets more blue,
From the day, I met you.

Now I smile to myself
Though I have no clue.
You know reason? It's you.
