हाँ, यूँही खिली थी मैं
सूरजमुखी की तरह!
उस गुरुवार को जब
वो पीली टीशर्ट में दिखे थे मुझे!
मैं भी पीले कुर्ते में ही थी!
और एक पल में लहलहा उठे थे
सरसों के ढेर सारे खेत,
उन पर उगे सरसों के असंख्य फूल!
मंद हवा के झोंकों से झूमते
वो पीले फूल मेरे कपोलों पर
करने लगे थे अठखेलियाँ!
लाज से सुर्ख गुलाबी हो गयी थी,
या शायद पीत-वर्णी ही!
एक पल को लगा था
ब्रह्मांड से गुरु भी अपनी चाल
हमारे हित में चल रहे थे!
पीले सूरज के थपेड़ों से क्लांत
उनका दैवी श्रीमुख क्लांत नहीं,
प्रदीप्त ही लग रहा था!
हाँ, मेरा प्रिय रंग लाल है,
पर उस गुरुवार के बाद से
मुझे पीले रंग से भी
विशेष स्नेह हो गया है!
हाँ, मैं पीतमयी-सी हो गयी हूँ!
