in a room locked from outside. It was lying on the floor with a look of terror on it's face. Still, there weren't any noticeable injuries nor signs of poisoning. Investigation team was perplexed and the case remained unsolved. But the neighborhood boy knew. He had seen blood oozing out from the portrait hanging on the wall. When he tried to inform the inspector, nobody took him seriously. I mean, who would? That boy was the only person who could see me hiding behind the portrait.

He pushed the door open and went inside.
The room was pitch black and silent as a grave. He cursed the master of the voice who had told him that it would be filled with jewels. He got chills after realising that there was no way back as the master had locked the door from outside. He was trapped and would soon die out of hunger and suffocation. Still, he bent down and crawled in the dark to find the support of walls but found a shovel instead. He got up and started digging the floor. Surprisingly , the soil was soft enough. As if it was God’s grace. He continued digging it for days, ignoring hunger or thirst, till he managed to make a small tunnel. After coming out the room, he danced with joy, as much as his frail body could bear. But to his despise, it was night and he could hear a roar from the distance . He lit a piece of wood and stepped inside the room, thinking what will be the harm in spending one night more. But when he was about to blow on the flame, he noticed a door, not the locked one, at the end of the room. “What if the treasure, about which the master had told him, was lying on the other side of the new door?” he thought.
He pushed the door open and went inside.-
