"किराया, कोरोना काल और स्वाभिमान"

सुखी लाल(बाऊजी) शांती(अम्मा जी) अपने 3मंजिला मकान में रहते है।नीचे की जगह कुछ दुकानों को किराए पर दी गई थी।जहां किराना, ट्रेडिंग , ज्वेलरी शॉप है, वहीं दूसरे माले पर दो किराएदार शर्मा जी जो आईटी कंपनी में उच्च इंजीनियर है और प्रेरणा जोकी शिक्षिका है अपनी 12 साल की बेटी कल्पना और 6 साल के बेटे सिद्धार्थ के साथ रहती है पति से अलग हुए उसे अब लगभग 2 वर्ष हो चुके हैं।
प्रेरणा अपने काम और बच्चों के प्रति बहुत समर्पित है वो उन्हें कभी किसी भी चीज की कमी महसूस नहीं होने देती है।अम्मा जी के कहने को तो दो बेटे और एक बेटी है मगर वह अपने काम और ससुराल के चलते हैं साल में मुश्किल से होली दिवाली ही उनसे मिलने आते हैं, नाते नातिनों से उन्हें काफी लगाव है जिन्हें बस वह तस्वीरों में और वीडियो कॉल पर ही मिल पाते हैं।
कोरोना के आते ही सभी का काम-धंधा बंद हो गया विद्यालय से भी प्रेरणा को छुट्टी मिल गई शुरुआत के कुछ दिनों तक तो सब ठीक चलता रहा मगर जैसे-जैसे महीना बिता प्रेरणा की चिंताएं और बढ़ने लगी। 1 तारीख आते ही प्रेरणा हाथ में किराया लिए अम्माजी के पास जा पहुंची।अम्माजी उसे देखकर सब समझ गई उसकी आंखों में चलती हुई कशमकश और मन में व्याप्त चिंताओं से वह अनजान नहीं थी।
उन्होंने कहा....?

दूरियां बनाना भी कितना आसान होता है...

चाहत हो कुछ पाने की तो आसमां भी जमीन के इश्क़ में रोता है,
साथ होने और साथ देने में फ़र्क बस इतना है,
चलती एक भीड़ साथ है, मगर उस भीड़ में हम जिसका हाथ थामे वो एक होता है...

सफ़र शुरू हुए थे शायद ख़तम होने के लिए,
वरना! शिद्दत से बुलाओ तो ख़ुदा भी लौटता है...

वाकई दूरियां बनाना कितना आसान होता है?

2020 - The most blamed! Why?
Is it really the fault of the year or is it we who are facing the consequences for our ignorance?
I guess 2020 has taught us all a lot. Whether it is understanding the uncertainties of life to knowing the importance of a person after they're gone, whether it is knowing how valuable is money to understanding how hard it is to be earned, doing a 9-5 job to realizing your passion for life, from being irresponsible to knowing your responsibilities, from just good at one thing to discovering your capabilities, whether it is working at home to losing job at the peak of our needs and most of all it is to know even at this stage who stands by you and who leaves. It did cost a lot of loss but if it wouldn't cost us a big sum then probably we wouldn't have taken it this seriously, isn't? For me I guess 2020 shouldn't be ever ignored. Probably a year to be remembered for many reasons.
