रेल और पटरी के मिलन की गवाही देते कुछ सिक्के
मेरे वजूद की बस यही निशानी है

I greeted you as never before.
Charmed by your visit;
lost in the conversation,
I comprehended your lonliness for a huge stretch.
Your stories, your childish whispers
and your sweet smile as always made my day.
Exuberantly listening to your talks,
I perceived, how you valued your bonds.
Your eyes,
reflecting the beauty of your love and character.
Everything I noticed,
but couldn't realize your silence.
Ah! I still remember those bunch of chocolates,
you proffered to me,
Unfortunately, the last present by your hands.
Your voice, still echoes in my ears,
encircling my existence.
I had never imagined you leaving us like this.
Your death gave me a shock out of thunder.
A single tear didn't shed from
your eyes to make us realize, it was your farewell.
At least a last goodbye!
