Gliding through the waves I want
to feel the breeze,
Caressing my wounds with flames
I want to fly high above the
Himalayan peaks,
I want to witness the beauty of
the snowy mountains that
makes a chill run down through
my veins,
I want to spread my hands wide
open to feel such a beautiful
moment that I always dreamt
to live,
Yes, I want to live that dream
once in my lifetime for real
before my body gets cold
and stiff and my eyes witness
no more sunrise to feel
the bliss...!!!

WELCOMING SKIES

At night, there are two skies
in the Himalayas.
A scary pitch black one,
that of the mountains with constellations
made out of homes on them.
The other more welcoming,
prussian blue,
with a patch of Milky Way
sprinkled like sparkles on paper.

The scary one is liveable.
The welcoming one is out of reach.
Which one is welcoming, once again?

थे शोर का हिस्सा बहुत ।
अब जिंदगी ये अपनी गुमनाम चाहता हूँ ।
कुछ जिम्मेदारियां खत्म कर इस जिंदगी की ,
बस अब हिमालय की गोद में आराम चाहता हूँ ।

सुनो तुम गंगा घाट सी रहना
ये कलयुग है,
ख़ुद को संगम सा विशाल रखना!
आएँगे कई आशिक़ आवारे,
तुम लफ़्ज़ों को भूल
लहज़ों को सुनना!
हर बार लौटना
मुमकिन नहीं होगा हिमालय
सुनो लड़की,
अपना आशियाना
तुम ख़ुद बुनना!

बेपनाह इश्क करो और दर्द न हो
मतलब! हिमालय में घर हो, और सर्द न हो?

बुलाती है आज,
छोड़ सब कुछ बुला रही हैं
उन वादियों की याद,
पहली बार जहां मिले थे
हम सपनों के पार।

जैसे मानो भाव मेरे सब
तेरे हृदय से बहने लगे,
मुझमें बहते तेरे प्रेम को
सब गंगा यमुना कहने लगे....

उन्हें देखे बिना चैन कहाँ आता है?
पर, हिमालय पर कोई चढ कहाँ पाता है?
वो आज भी निवासी है कैलाश के!
डमरू के धुन पे पर्वत भी जगमगाए!
वहीं बैठे बैठे संसार को चलाएं!

धरती, पताल और स्वर्ग लोक को,
तीनों आंखों से देख रहे हैं!
उन्हें देखे बिना चैन कहाँ ?
उन्हें महसूस करता हूं रोम-रोम!
पर उन्हें देख पाना संभव नहीं!
वो त्रिकाली है! त्रिदर्शी है!
आदि और अनादि भी!
है कोई दुनिया में ऐसा!
जो ओम पर्वत पे चढ़ जाए!
और फिर भी पूछते हो तुम धर्म हमारा!
साक्षात शिवा जब धरती पे है!
उन्हें देख पाना संभव नहीं!
उन्हें पा ना असंभव नहीं!
पर है कहाँ शक्ति हमें?
जो रावण जैसा पूजे उन्हें!
जिस पल रावण जैसा भक्त बने,
महाकाल साक्षात दिखेंगे!
