A bunch of people will knock your door at 12 am to felicitate you in an event named 'birthday bumps'.You will never understand, when your face is slammed into the cake and by whom. And at the end you can find cake on everyone's face. You don't get even a piece to eat, though they bought it for you. You will get flooded by eggs and tomatoes. Catch them if you can. They play Holi 'with you' using a mixture of salt, onion paste, remnants of food, water,spices etc to make your day special. You will also have a privilege of being pushed into mud pit if it is rainy season.
This is how how friends invite new year into birthday boy's life.

"This opportunity won't come again...today your dream of becoming the best author has come true...you are going to get the best storywriter award...you surely can't miss this chance.." , he said...
"But how can I ? You are suffering there in the hospital...", she hesitated...
"Don't worry about me...i will be fine...", he assured...
That day she dressed herself beautifully, she left her hairs open and wore her red gown just as her husband always wanted her to dress...
After 1 hour, her car stopped in front of a hospital...
She entered the ICU...
"Happy birthday love..."
"You didn't go to the felicitation programme? "
"No...how can i miss my opportunity to spend the last 3 hours with my husband? That's much more important than any award..."
By the that time the media has reached the hospital...
"Ma'am why didn't you attend the programme? Was this award not important for you?"
"It was important....but not more than these 3 hours..."
"These 3 hours?" The reporter asked puzzled...
"Last 3 hours with my husband...he was patient of leucaemia...he is no more..."
She uttered the words with a smile on her face but a tear rolled down her eyes...

Gave her the mike....
"Babies, Whenever you go to study,
Take a long breath, read randomly and,
Understand it. Read it till, you love it...
Eat full, sleep fuller and,
Fuck the expectations coz,
"Its Boards not, Life. Life will be judged by,
What you learn, not what you mug up" and,
The mike was snatched with a suppressed smile....
