HISTORY OF FALOODA
FALOODA is originated from Shiraz in Persia (currently Iran).
FALOODA is known as faloodeh.faloodeh in Persia and is a traditional Persian dessert.
Persia enjoyed sherbet around 2500 years ago .even Greece 's Alexander who fought with Persia for ten year enjoyed this frozen sherbet .this forzen juice was named sherbet.but sherbet was not enough for the people.
Around 4000 ago they mixed fruit and vermicelli for a new recipe I.e FALOODA FALOODA was introduced in the India sub continent during the mughal period.
In 16century ad came to India .with the mughals . falooda arrived in india with mughal.ot is said that the mughals brought the cold milk based desert to india from persia as an alternative to beat the heat .Actually when Babur frist came to India . the heat bothered him a lot .he couldn't find ice,cold water or his favourite fruits .the mughals reached Himalaya. Ice brought from the mountain is called choori chandhi ki dhar near kasausi . according Ain -akbari in 1950,boats filled with ice were brought daily to that times's capital is Lahore. Every boat used to brought 12ice blocks.every block used to weight at aleast ten kilos .....-
