For some people,
The night monster hides
under their bed
and doesn't let them sleep.
Insomnia.














In my case,
The night monsters hang
on my weak eyelashes
with all their weight
and don't let me awake.
Hypersomnia.

And whenever they said,
"Hang in there, everything will be fine!"

She'd wonder,

If anything ever got better for her dismal past,
that's been hanging on the hooks of her eyelashes for ages now...

Eyes become naked, 
Without those beautiful lashes. 

Even when a strand falls on my cheek, 
I make a wish and blow it in the air. 

The black maskara when applied, 
My lashes feel pride. 

The confidence that glows on my face, 
Comes from those weak yet strong eyelashes. 

And when I feel low, 
The same Lashes hug me tight.
