In this fake world of
Masked faces,
Doomed self-respects,
vulnerable personalities,
I'm in search of someone
who can enchant me
just by being real.

It really hurts when
you know you are
in the harsh truth called reality
Yet you can't find truth
but impressive masks
hiding themselves under
the comfortable wear of smiles.

Dear reality,
Can you please justify your name?

felt like reading a book.

A book,
The pages of which
have become yellow
with time,
But the stories it holds,
are still enchanting.

A book,
which has been
read by few,
yet understood by none.

And as I finished the coffee,
I wondered,
If I should order another cup,
If I should read another chapter?

Struggles to outshine,
The tubelight.

The bulb, thoughtful,
Discusses philosophy,
With the wall.

The bulb, enchanted,
Asks the dancing fan,
'Are you drunk ?'

The bulb, sad and
Helpless, as he realizes,
His light failed to,
Penetrate within me.

Ignorance is not right
When your eyes catch slum sight
Increment in rail fares is right
But when it is rickshaw ones,we fight
Giving tip in hotels is our pride
But when it comes to roadside kids,go aside
If AC is not working we blowout
But when it comes to slums,it is blackout
If you really want someone to be enchanted
Then don't take them for granted.
