जीवन लक्ष्य

काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह को त्याग बड़े चलो।
यह तुम्हारी बेड़ियाँ हैं - तोड़ इन्हें छोड़ चलो॥

विलाप, ख़ुशी, मोह लौकिक रंग संपूर्ण हैं।
बंधन तोड़ो, माया छोड़ो, तब जीवन पूर्ण है॥

पांच तत्वों से जन्मा, समय बंधा बढेगा।
काल साथ नश्वर शरीर तत्वों में लौटेगा॥

परमात्मा रूपी आत्मा, जन्म नहीं लेती।
एक शरीर त्यागते दूसरा ग्रहण करती॥

क्यों शरीर में खोये, कर्म पथ पर चलो।
निष्कर्म कर्म की मंज़िल ही अपनी रखो॥

न व शरीर तुम्हारा, न वह तत्त्व तुम्हारे।
शरीर बस मंदिर है जिसमें तुम विराजे॥

लौकिक मोह प्रेम छोड, चलो अपनो संग।
निष्कर्म कर्म प्रेम से, रमो परमात्मा रंग॥

Life not in the future be,
Life not in the past be,
Life just in the present be,
So live it honourably.

All acts that you do ever remember,
Be but by His will else you slumber,
Dedicate wholly your acts to Him,
And free yourself from rebirth and sin.

This the best rapport be undoubtedly,
You came from Him most certainly,
And returned to Him you must surely.

Body will return to its elements shortly,
Cry not when this happens inevitably,
Only the Atma does live infinitely,
Ponder but then who do you be?

Neither you belong to this body,
It but be from fire, water and air,
Earth and sky - created and cared.

In death but life does ever be,
But Man sees this not clearly

The cause of sorrows be thought only,
Thought of proclaiming it yours truly,
Its loss, ownership causes sorrow, joy,
In these material thoughts you fry.

What had you brought whose loss you fry,
You created nothing that was destroyed,
You lost nothing but just earthly toys.
