जमाना बदल गया है साहब जिनकों चुपके से छूने मे हमने सालों लगा दिये थे
आज वो खुलेआम किसी और के गले मे हाथ डालकर घुमा करते हैं।

मेरे लिए तो मेरी बीवी ही थी,
शायद किसी के इंतज़ार में थी,
मेरे जाने की बेताबी सी थी,
मै बुझा हुआ नौकरी पर जाता,
मेरे बाद शायद कोई आता,
नहीं वो फरेबी नहीं थी,
मेरे लिए तो मेरी बीवी ही थी,

फोन करता तो उठाती नहीं,
सवाल करता तो बताती नहीं,
रिश्तों में खटास सी थी,
किसी तीसरे की आवाज़ सी थी,
मेरे आने पर सहम सी जाती,
फिर जल्दी जल्दी चाय बनाती,
जैसे धोखे की देवी सी थी,
पर मेरे लिए तो मेरी बीवी ही थी।।
