CF patients often have problems maintaing good nutrition, because they have a hard time absorbing the nutrients from foods, hence they can have delay growth.

Some don't show signs while others experience severe symptoms or life threatening complications.

The signs and symptoms varies, depending on severity of the disease.

Some include: Respiratory-:wheezing, repeated lung infections, inflamed nasal passages, stuffy nose, recurrent sinusitis. Digestive-: poor weight gain and growth, intestinal blockage (meconium ileus), chronic constipation.
