We raise our dreams
in cages and complain
that they grew up
to be wingless birds.

Somewhere deep inside her that screaming ambitious girl is still caged who is waiting for someone to unlock that dark cage of stigmas and to allow her to live her incomplete dreams
at least for once.

अपनी ही खींची लकीरों में तुम उलझे हुए
और उड़ने की बातें करते हो ।
पिंजरे में तुम खुद कैद हो
और परिंदों को आज़ाद करते हो ।।

He thought for a while to curse the
fate or to curse himself for the never
ending miseries in his life,
He asked to himself that if it's a
blessing to have a talent that none
cared or a curse that made him reach
no where,
He always tried to wipe the tears of
his dearest one with the blessing he
possessed but soon it turned into a
curse and use to hurt them instead,
Neither he kept trying anymore nor
he tried to embrace that talent he
wished to cherish but caged it
instead and dumped it somewhere
very far where he can never
reach again whenever he
feels like...!!!

Mornings see
my crumpled bedsheet,
and the darkness under my eyes.
The bottom of my bed
tries to wake me up
all night hurt by my nails
scratching its sides.

No one knows
if I dream of birds;
no one knows
if I cage them.

No one knows
if I make waterfalls;
no one knows
if I fall into them.

'Being alive' and
'Living the life' are different.
Just like,
A bird in cage &
The bird in the free sky.

She was interwoven with fascinating contradictions,
She wrapped fire for the skin
but
Caged a storm inside her soul.

मत कर ग़ुरूर अपनी ताक़त का, क्यू तू भूल गया ऐ हुकूमत।
तारीख़ ने तो गरक और नहस, फिरौं की फ़ौज को भी होते देखा है ।
