धूप के सिरहाने
तकिए पर
एक बड़ा सा चांद रखकर
बेचैन रात नींद बन टहलती रही

याद का बुलबुला
किसी के हाथ न लगा
रासायनिक प्रयोगों में निकली
कुछ गैसों की तरह!

In a thin tube of soapy liquid,
he drowns a stick and pulls it out
to blow bubbles into the wind.

I don't know who,
but someone's been using a
stick in the pool of my tears

It bursts out
before reaching

Bubbles will burst.

Mine did in 2014,
when suddenly I started taking notice of the religion and caste of my friends and colleagues.
when the seeds of differences were being sown, subtle but visible.
when saffron weighed tad bit too heavily over our flag.
when a whole government was known by only one individual.
when Gods became the currency of Power
and mortals, Gods.

I love getting lost in snow globes.
There's something
so light and comforting
about watching the snow falling,
soft and silent,
inside a bubble where
everything is always perfect.

Friendship lies in Heart
Not in show off.....♥️♥️
Because Showing off is
The fool's Idea of Glory...

Another day came to me,
this time wearing a fur coat.
I asked him why he got that?
He told me that he came from
a place, draped in snow carpets.
I wondered why he still wore it.
I was about to ask him why,
when he told me that it snowed
in his bubble, which I can't see.
That's when I learnt that each
person has a different world,
what works for me, cannot
ever work for them at all.
