बरगद को बोनसाई बनाया
अपने मन के जैसा उसको करते-करते
रिश्ते में से छाँव को इक दिन खो बैठे हम!

दरख़्त जंगल में हो तो आपदाएं झेल जाता है,
लगा हो किसी बड़े पेड़ के नीचे बदकिस्मती से,
या लगा हो गमले में तो बोनसाई बन जाता है,
दरख़्त वही स्वभाव अलग कुदरत बाकमाल है

काट छाँट कर,
खुद को सहूलियत से
बदल देती हूँ मैं..l

उस बोनसाई सा
जो अब घर के अंदर
गमले में अपनी
जगह बना रहा है..l

इतना सरल भी नहीं
खुद की छँटाई.....ll

मेरी कहानी में कोई कहानी नहीं है
हैं तो बस कुछ उदास शामों के अधूरे किस्से
मेज पर चाय के एक कप का सूखा हुआ निशान
बोनसाई के पेड़ की बेतरतीब पत्तियाँ
डायरी में लिखी नज़्मों पर एक साथ
पृथ्वी का चक्कर लगातीं दो उंगलियाँ
दो हाथों में टिका पूरे से थोड़ा कम एक चाँद
आधे से थोड़ी ज़्यादा लिखी एक किताब
अधूरे तुम
एक चौथाई मैं
और एक पूरा इश्क़....

चाह नहीं.....
बरामदे की छांव में गमले का बोनसाई बनकर मेरी ज़िन्दगी पुर सकूँ चले!

चाहत है !!!
तपिश व झंझावातें सहता शजर का जीवन, जिसकी छाया में आश्रित पले!

Once upon a time, burgeoning flowers were trying to spread it's redolence in the gardens of phrontistery, bundles of tomes on little shoulders, crumbled Thier joyous childhood, corporate criminals are playing with lives of children by measuring knowledge in name of marks and little buds are getting crushed by intense cramming pressures, at last those magnificent flowers crumpled and enduring as a bonsai.
