Applying whitish powder on her skin
Thinking her black color was a sin

Everyone told her the story,
Where black was bad & fair was glory.
I tried to rescue her from maze of tones
And told her to respect what she owns.
This is not only her story, but most of Indian girls.
But they don't know black or white they're still pearls.

Black, to me it is a family of colours ,
a place of solace ,a place of consolation when you are sad .
I find it appealing for the fact that maybe when all the colours are tired of being cheereful ,they just come in a place and all others follow
not wanting to leave there fellow colour alone .
and thats how the darkest(strongest) black is formed.
