The young magician saw in his cup
His future set out in runes
Ancient language of grimlaw
Bonded with mystical tunes
He saw that it was his destiny
To sit at the right hand of the King
And protect him from his enemies
From outside and from within

Then there came a young boy
Who drew the sword from out the stone

And this wise man's name was Merlin
