I glance at the empty cage
Of ribs where the heart must
Have beaten beautifully all age
And blow away the layer of dust.
Albeit lost life, with the organs inside,
The empty cage uncaged more knowledge,
Than a languid library could ever provide,
For a thirsty medical student's passage.
