Looking back into memories has been one of my greatest fears and probably the only one which I've always dared to come across. Eight long years since I passed my elementary school and I decide to visit it once, knowing that my sentimental adrenaline will take no time to get thrashed under pile of emotions once I get lost there looking into every little detail in each corner of it.

Ahhh!! My alma mater. I can't believe am here inside you. Please be nice. Please serve only tender memories. I was talking to myself and the building passing through the staff room. Yes ! The staff room. Reminiscences have started it's affect and here we go.....

Days are gone but minds are still fresh,
With two braids,ponytails just like a nerd.
No we were not actually one of that....
Can't explain the thrill of meeting the girlfriends,
Maybe just waited for tiffen stuffs...
Uniforms,school bags, slam book,girl talks, crushes....... n so on
Now that we look back and wish to have few more years there .....

Remembering the Alma Matar

I remember, on the first day,
I woke up early and was unwilling to go to school,
on my way, I was crawling and crying like a fool.
I entered in the boundaries of high-rise,
with tears in my eyes.
Teachers welcomed me in the class,
and I made so many friends and foe,
days passed by and my circle increased.
The fears of surprise tests and results,
That still haunts me,
calling other students with names of their bestie.
laughing, talking, laughing, joking with friends was our usual routine.
We did bunk the classes,
We did break the glasses.
Everyone, used to wait for the prizes,
in those Annual functions with full of surprises.
Those were the best moments I have lived.
I remeber those days,
when we go to the ground and our lungs used to vane,
those good times dissappeared,
as if they are tears in rain.

My School....My Alma Mater,

Congrats, you turned 112 this year.
It's been a decade !
Actually, I am in search of "myself".
Just realised - you might know where "I am".
Can you please look for me,
am missing myself very much.
I think, am still there in the campus..
Maybe, standing near the Cathedral or sitting beneath the old saunf-tree. Dancing in the refectory or boosting on the stage. Eating my lunch box near the water-taps or looting burgers in canteen. Reciting 'Our Father who art in heaven' or singing school anthem. Kneeling down outside that class or holding my ears in quadrangle. Playing leg-cricket in baby ground or attempting baskets in the court. Roaming around with buddies or making fun in classrooms.
If you find 'me', please inform ASAP.
I have a lot to do with myself.

Today I woke up at 5:30 a.m.
To get a chance to visit my school

It's the leaves that grow older and shed , Roots remain the same , they just grow stronger and deeper, stay with you till the very end !
So maybe it's just another dry autumn , abcission time
