Games that have died shall be reborn,
We all have played a game called Atlas in our childhood.. It involved starting with a place name starting with S and then continuing naming places with the last letter. Come join me relive our childhood moments and play this game again....-
Life's Mysteries
Life shows you things you never wanted to see,
Life makes you what you never wanted to be,
Life teaches you what you never would have learned,
To believe in life as if it is the thing that shall always be....
I salute life for what it is,
For it becomes so unpredictable enough to predict,
For it becomes so unreal enough to realize,
For it becomes so illusioned enough to see the truth....
It is a short thing which takes too long,
It is a great thing which becomes too wicked,
It is a lovely thing to be hated though,
For life can show you wonders....-
There are few demands of life that we savour,
Thinking that we deserved more...
There are few traces of joy that we relish,
Thinking that sadness comes and goes...
There are few minutes of relief that we cherish,
Thinking that these drops of sweat will douse the fire of unrequited labour...
There are lots of memories we come across,
Thinking that we will not repeat the same mistake again,
There are lots of obstacles in life we go across,
Thinking that these will push us forward in the long run,
We're dead tired and exhausted...
But still we carry on,
We have to do it, There's no other way,
For time doesn't stop for anyone....-
The road is long and dusty,
He stopped a little to have a bite,
Suddenly the sky became a little dusky,
For it was about to be night,
He walked alone in the silent darkness,
Turning past the square and down the alley,
Suddenly there was a noise...
A slight fear entered him as he ran through the valley,
He was being followed,
Because he carried something precious,
It would determine his future,
He ran and ran, protecting it as he was precautious,
Suddenly he stopped....
His destination had arrived,
He was about to meet his destiny,
And it was not all bright,
The mercenaries closed down on him,
He had nowhere to go,
He turned to God to pray for safety,
Just then...-
Thank You Teachers
A teacher is a building block,
They mould the shape of a student,
They make sure there's no flaw,
And take care to leave no dent,
I salute all my teachers today,
For all they have done for me,
I wish them all the happiness and peace,
And for them to live in glee,
I am grateful for all their love,
I am grateful for their anger too,
For all I know that in their anger,
Lies their concern too,
A teacher is an artist too,
They paint us students in such a way,
We become so colourful...each one,
That no one can erase our colours away,
I tell my teachers 'Thank you',
For always being what they are,
Thank you for showering us,
With all your love and care,
I don't have anything else to tell,
For this was all I had to say,
There wasn't a day better for this,
HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY...-
Desire
Desire is fulfilling my heart's feeling,
Desire is not caring for my need,
Desire is not listening to valuable advice
From parents we do not pay heed,
Desire is the ultimate wish,
It makes us feel elated,
Desire is the first step
Of getting us defeated,
Desire is a strong emotion,
It brings us off the track,
Desire gets the front seat then
Throwing our dreams at the back,
Desire makes us have a collapse,
Falling down a lot,
Desire though doesn't make sure
That we fall on a cot,
Desire gives us aspirations,
Things we could just dream about,
Desire is an intoxicant
Which makes us pass out,
Desire makes us vulnerable,
Desire causes injuries,
Therefore we should not listen to them
For we aren't our own juries....-
My mind is full of glee,
My heart beats in admiration,
The day which marked our history,
Has finally come into motion,
The valiant soldiers who gave their lives,
For this day they strived,
They made this day for us,
To watch our India alive,
The stream of blood was never ending,
But still they didn't stop,
For all they knew was that,
They had to throw the British out,
They were finally successful,
They did it in sweat and pain,
Finally we were independent,
In midst of a heavy rain,
The rain contained our tears of joy,
For all they had to say,
It wasn't a day better than this,
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY....

The fallen warrior
Sad, crestfallen he returns,
With heavy steps and a bleeding heart,
He had fought like a lion,
He had overpowered all with his valour,
But sadly, he had lost,
He had lost because he was one...they were many,
He could not save his friends, his comrades,
He had dropped big tears of agony and pain,
When he saw them sliced into small pieces,
He still didn't stop...He went on and on,
He had become frenzied now,
He could not bear some loss and grief,
He grew wrathful, murdering and plundering anything in his path,
Suddenly all came to a halt,
He stopped in his tracks,
He looked down and saw a spear end sticking out of his chest,
He collapsed then in the midst of a river of blood,
He is going now, happy and peaceful,
Wrapped in a shroud with a hero's farewell,
Goodbye, brave soul...-
Poems
Poems are the ripples of water at the bank of a shallow stream,
Poems are the words of laughter in mirthful joy and gleam,
Poems are the gems found in mines deep,
Poems can make you asleep
And Poems can make you weep.
Poems are made of passions,
Embedded with a lot of emotions,
Poems are made of greetings,
And more and more meetings,
Poems are our heart's fury,
Waiting to be our deed's jury,
Poems are pictures of your feelings,
Written in beautiful handwritings.-
