I wrote you a letter in trembling script,
On paper thin as a lover’s sigh,
Each word a whisper, soft and equipped
To float where silence dares to lie.
The clouds rolled in, a silver shroud,
And drops began to blur the lines.,
The ink ran wild, unspoken, proud,
Like tears that knew no set confines.
The page curled slowly in my hand,
Your name now just a watery stain,
Yet somehow still, I understand:
The heart remembers more than rain.
Though wind erased each fragile trace,
And puddles stole the closing line,
Your voice remains, your touch, your face.,
In memory, your words still shine.
So let the letter melt away,
Love needs no parchment to remain.
Its echo walks with me each day,
Still clear... though written in the rain.

#RainwashedWords
A love letter so beautifully written,
Was swept away in the rain.
And now the letters were just blurry or not visible at all,
I wept profusely as the rain had washed away the only memories of you.
My heart was pounding thinking of all the beautiful memories spent with you,
Until the rain played the spoilsport.
I wanted to cherish this last love letter that you had sent,
But the heavy rain washed away the essence of your words.
And this put me into unbearable pain and misery,
The rainwashed words that once made sense now was totally blank..
