When I wake up
I call on Him
to keep us safe,
to guide us
when we're on our way,
to go before us
and clean the path
to keep us far away
from any harm.

When I go to sleep
I pray for His protection,
to cover us under the blood of the Son
and put His angel guard
to keep us
for He is our refuge and fortress
from sunrise till sunset,
from dusk till dawn,
yes 24-7,
He is our God,
our Creator,
our Heavenly Father.

Stand Strong

Remain connected to the Son
to stand strong,
amid every storm,
to keep the faith
and be reminded,
that no weapon formed shall prosper,
even if a thousand may fall on your side
and ten thousand on your right,
for the Lord is our stronghold,
our fortress,
our rock
on Who we build our trust
in each and every situation,
despite
the conditions.

Whenever I feel afraid 8 Dec 2020
I keep reminding myself
not to be,
because God, my Lord
is with me
at each step I take,
even when I face
the valley of the shadow of death
for He is my fortress, my hiding place,
and is the One
fighting my battles,
urging me
to be strong and courageous,
and to be led by His Spirit
and not by fear.

To Him be the glory!
In Jesus name!
