to fill my heart will joy and happiness,
a morning recipe
to start the day,
a reminder
about the goodness of God,
an amplifier for prayer
or a prayer self
to get connected to the Most High,
entering His presence
to receive His messages, tasks and blessings
for the day ...

for a new day
for He is with us
all the days of our lives,
never leaving nor forsaking us
and even if we wander off,
in patience He awaits,
till we turn back home
like the the prodigal son
in His patiently forever
loving arms ...

Like the first rays of the sun,
diminishing the dark,
we get reminded each morning
that yesterday has passed
and has been replaced by today
and the name of the Lord
shall be lifted up again,
either with songs
of praise and worship
or through prayers
or poetry
or just
a simple, profound conversation,
either in silence
or out loud
as long as it all comes
from way deep
within ...

even when we are asleep
and floating high
in the realms of His dreams,
just because He
is worthy of it all;

When I Brush My Teeth

When I brush my teeth
I often get lost in another reality
where thoughts pass by
of the past, the present or the future,
either as an individual part
or all at once mixed together,
and sometimes
even even experiencing the presence
of the Most High,
giving me the strenght and inspiration
and reminding me again
to give thanks
and bring honor and glory
to Him,
our Heavenly Dad,
our God Almighty.

Glory be Thy Name!
In Jesus name!

with prayers of praise, 6 Jan 2020
glorifying the Lord
Who made heaven and earth,
thanking Him
that I have been granted another day
among my loved ones
in this world.

I end my day
just the same,
again with prayers of gratitude and praise,
thanking Him for His guidance and protection,
that the day went well
and even when it went less
for He knows what's best
and in time will reveal
why the less
also also had to be part
of my past ...

Like the first rays of the sun,
triggering the birds to sing,
I want to sing my heart out
for the Creator of heaven and earth,
praising Him
for all the things in my life
and even thanking Him
for the less
because even then
He's got my back,
carrying me through the storm
or the drought of the desert
or the cold of the winter
for He is the perfect Father
Who loves each and everyone
beyond imagination.

To Him be the glory,
each new morning,
each new day!
