The Journey with My BFF
I have good friends
and some for sure are the best,
but none compare to Him,
my Bestie,
my BFF,
Who is and was and is to come,
and was with me all along
and stayed by my side,
even when I wandered off,
especially during my darkest days,
pulling me through,
even though
I didn't acknowledge Him,
but that is just the kind of special friend,
that characterises Him.

my Lord Jesus Christ,
Who has proven,
that He has never
left my side.
Even when I wandered off,
He was still around
and during my darkest days
He carried me through,
till I finally found
the way back home
on the narrow road
leading to the small gate,
where I found back my salvation
and got built up in my faith
and gained inspiration.
To Him be the glory!

and that His strength

to let them come to pass
according to His riches in glory

with His unselfish, abundant love.

WHAT GIVES ME HOPE
is my Lord,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
Who has promised through His Word,
that He will never leave nor forsake me
and has proven so
throughout my life,
especially during my darkest days
when He welcomed me back in His arms
through the Son,
giving me the knowledge and wisdom
to finally understand
why He gave His life on the cross
as ransom.
An act of love,
still unimaginable beyond words
and that's why
I'll keep praising and honoring His name.
