Aur sachi mohabbat ki talash mein
humne sukoon ko kho diya zindagi ke raah pe.

Kisike ishq ke khatir humne
khudhi ka ghar bechainiyon se bhar liya.

Yun toh mila bhi nahi pal do pal ki mohabbat
phir bhi hum mukammal tabah hogaye.

And I wish someone would have told
us about love - that it doesn't always
comes with happy ending or love that
movies and fairytales taught us.

It isn't always about beautiful endings,
but it's even about losing it for eternal.
A love that comes with pain, goodbyes,
sleepless nights and restlessness that
would make us regret every moment of our life.

Why didn't someone warn us about
dark sides of love that would
destroy us in the end ?

Why people made us hopeless romantic
in love hoping there's someone out
who would love us selflessly and make
our soul complete with all their love.

Why people literally ruined a life by
saying about love that doesn't really
exist for someone, in their life even
for searching it for ages.

And once in a lifetime
we fall so harder and
deeper in love and
other times maybe
it's just an illusion.

Mohabbat mein kuch is kadar baddua lagi hume kisiki
ke hum ne jisko chaha wahi hamara na hua.

No matter how hard you love
people will eventually leave.

Aur jiske liye hum tadapte rahe din raat
usko humse milna munasib tak na laga.
Aankhein jo tarsi uske deedar ke liye
phir ye toh taraste hi rehgaye hamesha ke liye.

Wo jo "mai jee na paunga tere bin" kehta tha
wo aaj kuch is tarah muh phergaya mujhse jaise
mano uski aankhon ne kabhi chahat
hi na ki hamare deedar ki.

And it hurts to lose the one whom
you thought to be yours forever.
