She waited at the airport before the final departure.

He came running to the security check, empty-handed, for the final goodbye.
"My gift?" She demanded.
"I didn't get time to buy one", he apologized.

A long pause. The final call sounded.
"Will you wait for me?" she whispered.
"Forever, if needed", he promised, and kissed her for the first time.

That parting gift was more valuable, more precious to her than even her diamond engagement ring. :)

Today was one of the
most memorable days of my life.
I was receiving a prestigious award
for my contribution to my college.

and cheering that the audience
were making, and capable of saying
a word of thanks to them! :')

A place to throw
All that extra chilli garlic noodles
And chicken curry leftover
Which we couldn't finish, after ordering
An extra overpriced plate from the
Expensive restaurant for our party.

Also, the dining place
For a few unfortunate others,
It being their only source of food.

Well, at least they know
Not to waste the food they get,
Even if they get it for "free"..

Oh well, free, really?
Sure, after all, Hunger and Poverty
Are no prices to pay at all.
