Foot by foot,
She learnt how to walk,
She learnt how to smile,
She learnt how to survive,
She grew up,
She glowed much more than a moon,
She thrived into a beautiful woman,
And then the world takes it all away from her,
Tying a knot on her whole life to be someone's wife,
She parched like a flower with no water,
She cried like a fountain with no choice,
Her screams became unheard,
Her clamours became unseen,
Like a bird in a cage,
Like a burning soul amidst the chaos,
She flickered in pain,
