as we had become too much powerful for him to control.

Maybe humans were indeed created in halves,
One searching for the better one,
Throughout his/her lifetime.
And when you find them,
You feel complete.
You rise to the apex of human existence. Feeling invulnerable.
And, when it seems you can take on the world,
Conquer everything, even capture the paradise.
The almighty claims your better half.
Reminding you, he has the most powerful weapon on his side.
