You are a tear in my eye!

Every morning I rise..
With the warm sunrise..
The songs of birds..
The thoughts and words..
Of love and delight..
And a tiny tear in my eye..
Time does fly..
And the day goes by..
I am left alone and weary..
My day monotonous and dreary..
Still that tear glistens in my eye..
Keeping me and my faith alive..
Time again takes its turn..
Evening in the dark night burn..
Now alone..all by myself in my mind..
You in me..I try ways to find..
I go to bed with that tiny tear in my eye..
To all my confusions..I ask my heart a reply..
I cried for you..I still do cry..will keep crying for years..
All I can do now..is just weep these silent tears..
I feel I lost you..and can never this pain bear..
But suddenly I remember..you are so close..so very near..
And all my sadness..with this little thought die..
You live in me..you are that tiny tear in my eye..
