एक तस्वीर जो दिल की बस्ती में बसी हुई है

ये एक तस्वीर नहीं एक भावना है
सिर्फ एक चित्र नहीं किसी की मनोकामना है

एक ऐसा विवरण है
जैसे किसी व्यक्ति की अभिलाषा का दर्पण है

एक ही निगाह में करती है ये सब कुछ बयान
ये तो बस किसी कलाकार की परिकल्पना है

अमावस की रात जैसा
अँधेरा है दिल में
इक टूटे हुए साज़ जैसा

काश कोई इक दिया जला दे इस दिल में
भीड़ में भी तेरी गूंजती हुई आवाज़ जैसा

बंदिशों की बंदिश में कुछ यूं बंदिश हुई,
कि बंदिश की बंदिश में बंदिश मिल गयी।

Agar aag hai to nami bhi hai,
Agar khushi hai to ruswai bhi hai,
Agar tej hai to Namrata bhi hai,
Agar haya hai to behaya bhi hai,
Agar bebakpan hai to bebasi bhi hai,
Agar khidmat hai to narazgi bhi hai,
Aur Inhi jhuki nazaro me zamane ki sachchayi bhi hai....
Lekin
Tumhe Nazar vahi aaega,
Jo tumhare dil ke nazare ka nazariya ho..
Ab vo us jhuki hui nazar ki khamoshi ko,
khidmat samjhe.....
Ya uski bebasi......
Ab Nazariya tumhara hai...!
