Do you know,
How it feels to be caught inside your head?
The air is perfect, humid and sensuous.
But the moisture is unbearable to stay.
It suffocates your breath,
Makes your heart hefty,
And eyes wide awake.
You ache while caught,
You fight to break free.
But the light laughs at you,
And the dark holds you
More tightly.
You try to mend the light of your heart
And escape the cage inside that dark.
But every effort seems to take you
To the abyss a bit hard.
Do you know how it feels?
To laugh with crying eyes,
To give a shivering smile,
To try to mend your broken pieces
With just little hope inside.

I said.
The art of tears in the eyes,
Echos inside the head
Dilemma over my tongue
And the still patience in my heart.

Of the anxious eyes
Looking for a hope,
The stillness in being heard.
The ways silence lies in my heart
Hiding from the out. And,
The art of a smile,
Coming out of the dead.
I admire the art
The art of broken pieces in a shell.
Adorning the spoiled souls
Coping with the reckless roles.

The captive chaos of our minds

मैंने खुद को संभाला था, एक दिन बरबाद होने को..
तेरा होकर भी तेरा ना होने को।
तूने बडे तस्लीम से हमें इश्क करने की इज्जात दी,
मगर खुद का इश्क छोड़ आए किसी अजीज को।
मैंने शराफत से मोहब्बत निभायी,
तेरी याद में तकलीफ भी गिनाई
मगर बेपरवाह तू लौट गया फिर अपनी दहलीज़ को।
मेरा इश्क अजीज है तुम्हे, मगर शायद मैं नही,
मुझे याद नही मैं कब सौंप आई,
खुद को तुम्हे, फिर एक बार बर्बाद होने को।

अंदाज है, हर किसी का अपना अपना।
आजमाते है लोग हर किसी को अपनी तरह।

मेरा मुझसा होना मेरी कमजोरी नही था।
भले ही लोगो के सवालों का घेरा चारो तरफ था।
मुझमें कमियों सी ढूंढती उनकी निगाहे सुनो,
घर के हर आले में उजाला हो, ये भी तो जरुरी नहीं था।
मन जगा सवेरे में, मगर रातों में वो चैन से सोया था
ये किसने तुमसे कहा था।
खामोशी को शब्दो की चादर में ओढ़े,
ये दिल लगाए रखना हर किसी लिए कहा आसान था।
तुम्हारा मेरे काटो को समेटकर मुझे ही चुबोना,
मेरी रूह की खुश्बू को थोड़ा तो सताया था।
मेरा खिला होना, या मुरझाया जाना।
बदलते मौसम सा मेरे मन का करवटे बदलना,
थोड़ा थका होना, थोड़ा घबराए होना,
किसी चादर की सिलवटों सा, उसी चादर में सिमटा होना,
मगर किसी भी तरह मेरा ऐसा होना मेरी कमजोरी नही था।

"I'm not leaving Papa. I'm going for the job. You always wanted to see me doing something for myself. Right? See your daughter is finally independent."

"Yes. You're. You have grown up so fast."

"Papa, don't make me emotional now."

"Well! You can cry with me. And can stay a little longer for a while"
Both smiled and hugged.

"About everything that has been unsaid so far. Everything that has created a lacunae between us. The invisible distance. I know it's difficult to stay connected, but the physical distance doesnt count when your heart is counted."

"I know. And I just need space."

"Then take. Take all the spaces, all the times, the solitude or everything you need. But don't be alien to me. I know you can't share some stuffs. But don't just forget that no matter I am here. Always. And with every situation I am here. Just don't let that space come between us."
