If someone is there, appreciate.. before they are gone.

Self love and being selfish, being good and being nice,
are all hypothetical terms.

We are what situations make us.

In this generation, no one is living with rigid morals.

We have moulded our morals to fit into situations
which are going to fit us into this society.

But the truth is, all of us are misfits of this society
trying to fit into the fits created by other misfits.

In a generation, where people are self centred
and emotionless, people who feel the most,
should not expect that someone will save them.
All of us have our battles and no one is entitled
to the consequences we face within ourselves.

No one is entitled to be there for you.

For fresh rain on leafy limbs
My hungry body yearns to swim
In sunlit pools and forests dim

Two decades old, I've seen theft change shapes
and forms. When I was little, it was a compass or
a good-smelling eraser my friend had taken. Theft
was a laptop, a gold ring and truckloads of trauma.
Sometimes, theft was the heart. Other times,
it was a dream.

This time, it's happiness.
