Fear rules the men and the women of this city.
The fear of getting discovered who you are underneath your skin. The fear of recognising ourselves in someone we despise. The fear of losing a perfect moment or never getting a chance to have one. The fear of catching ourselves realising, in spite of being an insider, we are just an outsider to our own world. The fear of fading into insignificance from the lives of the people we care for. The fear of change. The fear of loosing someone or never having someone to come back to at the end of the day. The fear of being lonely and ending up on the other side of the line.
Sometimes fear is good. When our fear hits rock bottom, it fuels courage for liberation. And sometimes, when we try to escape fear, it perpetuates vices, enslaves us in the perimeter of our own illusion: fear.
