Life is a canvas which can't be always painted with the colours we wish to. Sometimes, the canvas is left void. But, midst that void, it is the strength within us that empowers us to fill it with the colours of bravery and courage.

Happiness and sadness are overrated emotions. We fathom about these emotions all our lives, though none of it lasts long. It is bound to sink in oblivion one day, because life is everything made up of grey where happiness and sadness co-exist.

The white frames of happiness is considered to define life and black frames of sadness is supposed to be the hurdle of life. Nevertheless, believe in grey frames because, this is the actual definition of life, where happy people can have the saddest of soul and sad people can have the brightest of smile.

Welcome to a world of contradictions and paradoxes!

I walked around an abandoned place.
And felt a certain kind of melancholy there.
You know the feeling which is soothing yet heartbreaking, all at the same time?
Soothing; probably because once upon a time this place was alive. Heartbreaking; because all that is left now is of ruins.

I like the greyness of the sky. It feels real and surreal, all at the same time. After all, the reality lies in shades of grey, doesn't it? Away from the vagueness of black and white, grey is something that's genuine and true. That's the thing with the weather, you know. It keeps changing yet remains its real self no matter what. Be it the broken leaves of autumn or the earthy scent of mud with every rainfall, the weather never loses its reality unlike people who justify their unreal aspect with the narrative of ā€œchange is inevitableā€.

From the left corner of the bed touching the side panels of the window to that slightly scratched wooden table which had all your favourite books lined up together, that place was more than just a home.

From trying too hard to believe in ā€œyou only live onceā€ to vaguely disappearing in the crowd because of the ā€œfear of missing outā€, life certainly becomes a labyrinth between these YOLOs and FOMOs way before we realize it. A labyrinth where it is difficult to find a way out, difficult to survive and above all, difficult even to exist.

I WILL BE THERE.

When you look in the mirror
and the reflection is nowhere close to you,
and you realise it's time to bid adieu..

I WILL BE THERE.

We might be a little lost, a little scared, a little messed up but, we definitely aren’t here to quit. Not today, not tomorrow, never ever.
