“ THE UNFINISHED LETTER”

The pen lay above the page,
Where it kept on lying for days,
The blue ink contrasting with the white base,
All I could see was just your face.
“ Hie Love!” the first line read,
And the whole world came to a stead,
The comma was meant to break the line,
The second line lied to say “I am fine”.

The beginnings had now turned to formal,
The letter for that did not seem normal,
The few lines written contained just the know-how,
The pen waited for what to write now.

So much was there I wanted to write,
To prevent that in ink flow I had to fight,
Life is tough, I wanted to say,
All I wanted was for u to stay,
Your first looks had made my heartbeats stopped,
But your last glance had me, with my tears fought.
I remembered when you turned around,
On my knees I had fallen to ground,
A drop fallen had made the paper wet,
Outside the window the sun had set.
Aside the letter was kept the dried rose,
In my chair, I seem to froze,
Fragrance ridden, its petals had dried,
In my diary it seemed to have cried.

The very moment, the clock ticked night,
All I could do was just to smile,
Again the whole day has passed at the table,
Trying to complete “THE UNFINISHED LETTER”.

My heart lay dead, as the days went by,
See the crimson red flowing through my eyes,
Burnt my world always, just for yours,
The one for whom I ever lived for,
How I wished you should have known,
it was just you and you ALONE..

THE UNKEPT PROMISES

Sitting at my table today as I think,
Old memories flashed by within a blink,
Those moments spent together, I always miss,
I will always remember those 'UNKEPT PROMISES'..

Those promises of loving me forever and ever,
Or sharing the happiness and sorrows together,
Those dreams woven under the blue moon,
I wonder how your forever passed so soon..

Those talks of your heart being with me,
And u loving urself, in my eyes whom you could see,
All that love and care u once showed,
I think it was just my dreaming thought..

Today as I see my long-left fingers,
I feel myself wetting in crimson-red tears,
And fulfilling your dream with utmost devotion,
Of becoming the subject of someone's poems...!!

THE BEAUTIFUL YOU
Today as I sat down to write,
Something about you, my most beautiful sight,
On this white sheet, a pen in hand,
I get lost in your face's wonderland.

I think and think, drive my mind a lot,
To search for words and describe my thoughts,
But no words suitable I could aptly find,
To match your beauty equally in its kind.

Your hair dark and silky, like flowing moonless night,
Your eyes so toxic, I get high with the sight,
Your cheek so red, even a rose get shy,
The shine on your face can brighten the night.
The curve of your lips, for which I can go miles,
Piercing my heart, your killing smile,
My heart skipped a beat, with your very first look,
The Cupid's shot , my heart finally took.

From morn to night, I think about you,
Your name in my heart, and in my breaths too,
My day starts with you, with you it ends too,
I cannot explain, how much I love you.

Happy and smiling you should always stay,
Problems will find me standing in your way,
Your dreams and wishes I will make true,
I will make all the stars break, and fall for you.
